Moscato Giallo Barrique
The Goldmuskateller grape – also known as Moscato Giallo – not only offers a complex, spicy aroma but, thanks to its pronounced structure, is also perfectly suited for barrel aging.
For this special grappa, fresh pomace from the family-owned vineyard at 450 m a.s.l. was fermented and gently distilled using the traditional double distillation method. The heart of the distillate was then matured for two years in French oak barriques previously used to age full-bodied Lagrein red wine. This imparts a soft, natural color to the grappa along with added depth and structure.
