The resulting marcs are carefully selected and serve as the basis for Felsenriss Lagrein Grappa only if they are of the highest quality and have not been pressed. Only such fresh and juicy marcs contain the fullness of aroma and flavor of the original grape and let them stand out in the grappa.

In order to preserve the complexity of the aroma in the best possible way, the marcs are distilled in a double distillation process and the heart of the distillation is stored in stainless steel tanks for about 1 year. The final touch is given by the blending with naturally pure spring water from Völlan.

Felsenriss Lagrein Grappa is particularly suitable as a digestif after heavy meat dishes or as an accompaniment to aromatic coffee.
